Program Description

Teen Game Jam

Have you ever wanted to learn how to make your own video games? Coding can be tricky, and learning to make video games is no exception. In this program, teens will use Makecode Arcade's codeblocks to create a simple game and pixel art for that game. Participants will need to create a Makecode account at arcade.makecode.com

The program will take place in the library's Computer Lab. Laptops will be provided.

You attended a previous game jam?
No problem!
We are creating a brand new game for this program.

During the registration window for this program, registration can be completed online below, by calling 309.590.6168, or by visiting the Help Desk on the library's second floor to register in person.
