Bloomington Library will be CLOSED Monday, May 13 through 5pm on Thursday, May 16.

The closure will allow us to begin to bring back and shelve 3,500 boxes of books which were moved to storage when our construction project began. Additional closures will be necessary and will be announced as details develop. Some collections may not be available until the move is complete.

Teens in grades 6-12 can take part in this DIY project in which they will make their own coasters using pages from comic books.
Registration is required and is limited to 15 teens. A craft kit will be reserved for those who register and will be available for pickup from May 3 until the start time of the program. Craft kits will be available at the Adult Services Desk or curbside pickup. Registration will open at 10am on Monday, April 19, and can be completed online below, by calling 309.590.6168, or in person at the Adult Services Desk.
The DIY kits include mod podge, paint brushes, coasters, a comic book page, and written instructions. Teens will need to provide scissors and have glue handy if needed. Along with written instructions, the program will be hosted on Zoom.
